Actor Park Bo Gum will be joining the Navy’s military band in August.
According to the report of Yonhap News, the officials considered Park Bo Gum qualified to be member of the band as pianist.
Earlier this month, Park Bo Gum applied for the Navy’s cultural promotion team and went through a performance test and interview on June 1.
Park Bo Gum is scheduled to start his service on August 31. He will undergo basic military training at Navy Education and Training Command in Changwon, South Gyeongsang Province before heading to the Navy headquarters in the central city of Gyeryong.
Born in 1993, Park Bo-gum made his debut in the 2011 film “Blind.” He appeared in the dramas, “Reply 1988,” “Encounter,” Love in the Moonlight,” and he recently made a cameo in “Itaewon Class.”
Meanwhile, Park Bo Gum has an upcoming drama titled “The Moment/Record of Youth” dropping this year.
