K-pop project group Wanna One is set to reunite through a new reality program slated for release in the first half of 2026, Mnet confirmed on Thursday, fueling anticipation of a long-awaited reunion among fans.
Speculation about the group’s return grew after Mnet uploaded a video titled “2026 Coming Soon, #우리다시만나” to its official YouTube channel on Jan. 1. The video was subsequently shared by Wanna One members, prompting widespread discussion online about a possible comeback.
An Mnet official told local media outlet OSEN on Jan. 2 that the members had expressed a desire to reconnect with their fandom, Wannable, and collectively agreed to take part in a reality program that reflects what fans enjoy most. According to the network, preparations are underway, with further details on the format and lineup to be announced once finalized.
Wanna One was formed in 2017 through Mnet’s survival audition show Produce 101 Season 2 and quickly rose to fame, becoming one of the most successful project groups of its time. The group disbanded after completing its contract, with members going on to pursue solo careers and activities in various fields of entertainment.
Despite their individual paths, expectations have continued to build around a potential reunion, with the upcoming reality program marking the first official group project in years aimed at reconnecting with fans.
