On April 7, BTOB members Eun Kwang, Min Hyuk, Chang Sub, Hyun Sik, and Peniel held their “Our Dream” fan concert in Manila at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. This was BTOB’s first stop after their fan concert in Seoul.
Before the concert, PH Melodies got to the venue early to give out freebies and hang out with their fellow Melodies at the Melody Zone, also known as “Barrio Melody.”
Inside the venue, you can see fans wearing blue colored shirts matching their lightsticks. When the lights dimmed, cheers and screams echoed loudly from the crowd. Even though the place isn’t packed, everyone there is making sure their cheers are the loudest.
For their opening performance, the boys were wearing their white outfits as they performed “The Song,” from their ‘Be Together’ album released in 2022.
Each member of BTOB shared their heartfelt sentiments about how much they missed their Filipino fans. The anticipation for BTOB’s return to Manila has been years in the making. The group’s last visit as a whole was in 2017, and ever since then, Filipino Melodies have eagerly awaited their comeback to the Philippines.
Since this was a fan concert, BTOB played a relay game in which they had to complete challenges such as ring toss, soccer ball, water bottle flip, candy pick-up using chopsticks, and shooting a bottle. During the first attempt, the members failed to complete the tasks within 99 seconds, but on their second try, they successfully cleared the missions.
Filipino Melodies were so lucky to have witnessed BTOB live performance including the songs “Pray (I’ll Be Your Man),” “Higher,” “It’s Okay,” “Day&Night,” “Wind and Wish,” “Remember That,” “Beautiful Pain,” “Only One For Me,” and of course “Missing You.”
PH Melodies prepared a huge banner that said “Today too. Thank you, BTOB. Today too, I Love You, BTOB.”
For their encore performance, BTOB went back to the stage to perform “Blowin Up,” and “Finale (Our Concert).” White confetti filled the air signalling that the show had come to the end. Each member shared how thankful they are to PH Melodies and hope to see the Filipino fans again.
