Manila is f*cking crazy – Jackson Wang

Enigmatic and electrifying, Jackson Wang’s ‘Magic Man II’ tour in Manila was nothing short of a spellbinding ritual. The moment he stepped onto the Araneta Coliseum stage, the air thickened with dark allure, as if he had woven a powerful incantation that left the entire crowd entranced under his shadowed magic.

He turned up the heat with a blazing performance of “Access,” setting the stage on fire both literally and figuratively. Every movement dripped with confidence and allure as he commanded the crowd’s attention. The atmosphere reached a fever pitch when he invited fans to join him on stage, allowing them to feel his raw, magnetic energy up close.

After that intense performance, Jackson returned dressed in an all-white outfit that made him look like a fallen prince. The mood shifted from fiery to serene as he sang “Not For Me,” “Blue,” “Everything,” and “Dopamine.” Each song conveyed deep reflection and solitude, revealing a more vulnerable side of the Magic Man—a man searching, longing, and reflecting under the soft, melancholic lights.

As the night went on, he returned to the stage with a lighter, more carefree energy, as if shedding the weight of his earlier emotions. Performing “GBAD,” he delivered each line with raw honesty, the lyrics resonating with a sense of freedom and self-awareness. The momentum continued as he performed “Buck,” “Let Loose,” and “Titanic,” filling the arena with high energy and unrestrained charisma.

Near the end, the show turned tender and deeply personal as Jackson performed “Dear:” and “Sophie Ricky,” a moving tribute to his parents. The crowd grew quiet as the lights dimmed, and his voice, filled with love and vulnerability, echoed through the arena. When he sang, “How do I fill these shoes? The weight of all your sacrifices gave me a gift that’s priceless,” it felt like we were witnessing a son speaking straight from the heart.

As the final act unfolded, Manila answered his magic with their own—wild, unrestrained, and alive. It was chaos and devotion entwined, the kind that leaves its mark long after the lights fade. With a breathless grin, Jackson shouted, “Manila is fucking crazy! This is insane!” And in that moment, it felt as if the Magic Man himself had surrendered to the storm he created.

MAGIC MAN II was Jackson’s spellbinding journey of self-expression. Through every song and every moment on stage, he invited his fans to see him beyond the idol they once knew, revealing the raw and unguarded layers of who he truly is. It felt as if he opened a door into his soul, letting the audience step into his world of fire, vulnerability, and truth. In sharing his story, he did not just perform for his fans but connected with them, heart to heart, in a way that felt both magical and deeply human.
