Jinu of Winner confirmed to appear in the upcoming KBS sport-drama.
On January 10, YG Entertainment shared that Winner’s Kim Jinwoo has been announced as a cast member for the upcoming KBS 2TV drama “Pure Boxer,” which is written by Kim Min Joo and directed by Choi Sang Yeol and Hong Eun Mi .
Choo Jong Nam’s novel “Pure Boxer Lee Kwon Sook” serves as the inspiration for the coming-of-age sports drama “Pure Boxer,” which tells the story of a young boxer and their cold-blooded agent as they attempt to escape the world of match-fixing.
Jinu will play the role of Han Jae Min, the first love of genius boxer Lee Kwon Sook (played by Kim So Hye). He is widely recognized as a “face genius” and is the deputy principal of a kindergarten.
Kim Jin Woo said, “I am honored and excited to be in ‘Pure Boxer’. I will do my best to show a good image through the drama.”
The drama is scheduled to air in 2023.
