Lee Min Ho Illuminates Manila’s Night Sky at MINHOVERSE fanmeeting

The stars aligned!

Lee Min Ho returned to Manila on April 26, and the SM Mall of Asia Arena shimmered like a night sky waiting for its brightest star. To his fans, MINOZ, he’s not just an actor r; he’s the constant in their universe, the one light they’ve always followed. So when he finally stepped onto the stage for his fan meeting, MINHOVERSE, it felt like the stars had finally come home.

He opened the night by singing “I Love You,” and right away, you could feel the emotion in the air. But what made hearts melt even more was when he recalled some Filipino phrases, “Mahal ko kayo” and “Mahal kita.” The way he said them, so casually and sweetly, sent waves of kilig through the crowd. It was a small moment, but it meant everything.

One of the fan-favorite parts of the night was when they showed alternative endings to some of his dramas. A scene from The Heirs came up, where Kim Tan, one of his most iconic roles, says something like, “Come home with me.” Min Ho, clearly amused, asked, “What’s the Filipino translation of that?” Fans screamed, “Uwi tayo sa bahay ko!”. People were literally falling over with laughter and excitement

Later, Min Ho shared a bit more about himself by trying to show his MBTI type through facial expressions. He’s an ENTP, which makes total sense, Min Ho is energetic, witty, and full of surprises. He struggled with some of the expressions but laughed through it, and the audience loved every second.

When asked which character’s love confession he liked most — Gong Ryong from When the Stars Gossip, Gu Junpyo from Boys Over Flowers, or Kim Tan from The Heirs — he didn’t even pause. “Kim Tan,” he said right away, making the crowd go wild. It’s clear that role still means a lot to him.

One of the most heartwarming parts of the night came when three lucky fans got the chance to play games with him onstage. Two played tumbang preso, a classic Filipino street game, and another joined him in a balloon-popping game. They managed to pop four balloons together, but Min Ho joked that he’d done eight to ten in other cities. All three fans got a hug from him and a personalized gift to take home (#SANAOL)

Surely, Lee Min Ho has already etched his name among the brightest stars in the Korean drama universe. And just like stars that burn for thousands of years, his light hasn’t dimmed — if anything, it shines even stronger. It was clear that night in Manila: time may pass, roles may change, but the love his fans hold for him is timeless.

Lee Min Ho ‘MINHOVERSE’ in Manila was presented by PULP Live World.
