NCT member Renjun will go on a temporary hiatus due to health reasons.
On April 20, SM Entertainment announced that Renjun visited the hospital due to the worsening of his physical health and symptoms of anxiety. The doctor then advised him to get plenty of rest based on the examination results.
As Renjun needs rest, SM announced that he will not be participating in his scheduled activities starting from the fan signing event scheduled for April 20. They will make another announcement in the future regarding his ability to resume activities.
NCT DREAM’s third concert, ‘THE DREAM SHOW 3: DREAM( )SCAPE,’ scheduled from May 2 to 4, will proceed with the remaining six members: Mark, Jeno, Haechan, Jaemin, Chenle, and Jisung.
Furthermore, SM Entertainment shared that they are continuously checking and filing complaints against malicious posts directed at Renjun and fellow artists. These complaints cover cases of malicious slander, sexual harassment, dissemination of false information, insults, and defamation. They will pursue legal action against those responsible, without compromise or negotiation, and are dedicated to safeguarding the rights and welfare of their artists.
