After the success of his first solo concert, 7sins The Album Concert, Felip is now gearing up to bring his 7sins album to Japan. Scheduled for release on August 21, 2024, this exclusive physical CD is eagerly anticipated by fans worldwide, with pre-orders starting on July 1, 2024. The Japan-exclusive release will feature exclusive 7sins merchandise, special content, and a bonus track titled “Tokyo.”
The physical CD is available for pre-order at official online stores like Tower Records Japan, Amazon Japan, and CDJapan. Felip and 7sins made history by becoming the first Filipino artist in 27 years to secure the top spot on CDJapan’s all-genre rankings on the first day of pre-order. The album also topped Amazon Japan’s Hip-hop category on the second day (July 2), and ranked in the top 10 of Tower Records’ K-pop/World CD reservation rankings. 7sins also reached #1 in the Rock/Pop genre on Rakuten and sold out at Warner Music Japan’s online store.
“Japan is my dream country. I watch a lot of anime so basically, I love everything in Japan. It’s such a dream to promote my album in Japan and I’m looking forward to performing there!” Felip expressed his thoughts and excitement about the upcoming Japan CD and promo tour.
The 7sins Japan album launch, events, and promotions are led by Warner Music Japan in partnership with Warner Music Philippines. Felip will have an autograph signing event at Tower Records Shibuya on August 30, 2024. Additionally, he is set to hold his 7sins The Album Concert on September 2, 2024, at the Shibuya duo MUSIC EXCHANGE. Fans from around the world are expected to attend this highly anticipated concert in Japan.
