An official from BH Entertainment informed Korean media on the 5th that Jinyoung will undergo basic military training at the training center on Monday, May 8th, and subsequently serve as an active duty soldier.
Jinyoung has had a successful career in the entertainment industry. He made his debut in 2012 through KBS2’s “Dream High 2” and as part of the duo JJ Project, before joining the popular boy group, GOT7, in 2014. With GOT7, Jinyoung has released numerous chart-topping hits, solidifying his position as a talented artist.
In addition to his music career, Jinyoung has also made a name for himself as an actor, appearing in several popular dramas such as “The Legend of the Blue Sea,” “He Is Psychometric,” “When My Love Blooms,” “The Devil Judge,” and the ongoing “Yumi’s Cells”.
Last February, Jinyoung visited Manila to meet his Filipino fans.
