Looking around the venue over the weekend, the passage of those years became beautifully tangible. The crowd was a living timeline of EXO’s enduring legacy, drawing together people from entirely different age groups. Scattered throughout the arena were old high school friends—once teenagers screaming over music videos during lunch breaks—who have now graduated from college and stepped into the workforce.
Even more moving was seeing longtime fans who have now started families of their own, bringing a whole new generation into the silver ocean. It was a poignant reminder of how much life has changed since, yet everyone returned to the exact same place to celebrate the music that soundtracked their youth.
