Playlist has confirmed the main casts of “Boy and Girl Straight Out of a Cartoon” featuring young actors who seemed to be from a cartoon who came to life.
Weki Meki’s Kim Doyeon, Kim Min Kyu, Choi Hyun Wook, Han Ji Hyo and Im Bo Ra, have joined the casts of the drama.
“Boy and Girl Straight Out of a Cartoon” was based on a webtoon that has been running on Naver since September last year. The story begins when Chun Nam Wook (Kim Min Kyu), the male protagonist of a 10-year long-running manhwa , steps into the real world.
Weki Meki Kim Doyeon will portray the role of Han Seon Nyeo, who ends up living in secret with Chun Nam Wook, who suddenly comes out of a comic book one day. Han Seon Nyeo is the daughter of a great hit manga writer.
Meanwhile, “Boy and Girl Straight Out of a Cartoon” will begin pre-production in April with the aim of airing in June.
