‘Are You Human?’ actor Seo Kang Joon met his Filipino fans for the first time at The New Frontier Theater, May 25.
Seo Kang Joon opened the stage with a heartwarming performance of his own song – ‘You Are My Love‘, the official soundtrack of his hit Korean Drama, ‘Are You Human?‘
The Korean actor, wants to visit Boracay, a popular tourist destination in the Philippines, to do snorkeling.
For the game segments, Seo Kang Joon randomly picked the lucky fans who will participate on the game. The mechanics is if the fans won against Kang Joon they will have an opportunity to get a signed CD or roll a dice with a lots of fanservice like 10 second staring game, 10 second hug and many more.
Seo Kang Joon lost to the fans for the first game ‘Ring Toss’, the fan get a 10 second staring game with him. Fans can’t help but to feel ‘kilig‘ during those times. ‘Stack Attack’ that was the second game. Basically the mechanics is to make a triangular towers made out of cups, then re-stack the cups back as you dismantle the tower. Kang Joon won on the second game, but he still gave a signed CD to the fan.
CDM Entertainment held an online game/contest in which the winners will get a chance to play a game with Seo Kang Joon, that goes to the third game: ‘Key to My Heart’, the players together with Seo Kang Joon have to open a locked box in which there is something special inside. Fastly, the fans first unlocked the box. The winner get a 10 second hug with Kang Joon.
‘Thinking Out Loud’ after those segments, he then performed his own rendition of this popular Ed Sheeran song.
As part of CDM Entertainment‘s traditon, Seo Kang Joon was asked to taste Filipino food such as Ilocos Empanada, Lechon, Leche Flan and Sago’t gulaman. He first tasted ‘Ilocos Empanada‘ a baked or fried pastry with green papaya filling and egg partnered with Ilocos Vinegar. Seo Kang Joon said that it delicious but the vinegar is too sour or strong for him. He loves Lechon the most among all the dishes.
He made his own ‘Sago’t gulaman’, a famous Filipino drink with Tapioca pearls and Gelatin. Two (2) lucky fans tasted the drink Seo Kang Joon made.
Seo Kang Joon Philippines prepared a special video for Seo Kang Joon as part of their fanproject. It featured, Filipino fans holding a banner with the lyrics of Donna Lewis song ‘I Love You Always Forever’. The fanclub prepared hand banners with messages ‘You are the brightest‘ and ‘Thank you for existing‘. They also gave Seo Kang Joon a special cake.
As the fanmeeting come to a close, he sang ‘Falling Slowly‘, fans get emotional as they hear Seo Kang Joon sang the song.
Seo Kang Joon never fails to charm his fans, indeed another memorable night for all of his fans. Meanwhile, his popular Korean Drama ‘Are You Human?‘ is airing on GMA 7. The fanmeeting was hosted by Ms. Sunny Kim.
