On February 28, Jungkook, the youngest member of BTS, deactivated his personal Instagram account. Prior to this, Jungkook’s personal Instagram account had amassed over 52 million followers.
Jungkook confirmed on weverse that he had stopped using Instagram and clarified to his fans, ARMYs, that his account was not hacked. He explained, “I quit Instagram, I wasn’t hacked. I’m not using it so I just deleted it. Don’t worry”
He also shared that he will just be doing weverse live from time to time, “I’ll just do Weverse Live”. Jungkook also made it clear that he doesn’t think he will be using Instagram in the future, “I deleted the application right away, and I’m letting you know in advance because I don’t think I’ll be using it in the future”
