ENHYPEN, ENGENES shout their hearts out at Manifesto in Manila

Do you already miss ENHYPEN?

To kick off the month of love, ENHYPEN composed of Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Jungwon, and Ni-ki made a memorable impact on the Philippine concert scene with their sold-out, three-day “Manifesto” concert at the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila from February 3rd to 5th.

The group‘s impressive musical prowess, synchronized dance moves, and charming personalities had the audience completely entranced. The members captivated the crowd with their dynamic stage presence and exceptional vocal abilities, elevating each song to new heights. Hit after hit, fans were left in a state of pure euphoria as ENHYPEN delivered a flawless performance. With this successful show, the group has firmly established their place in the Philippines concert scene.

Before the concert, ENGENES gathered outside the arena for a mini celebration called “ENGENE FIESTA” and “MANILAFESTO.” Fan projects, including “LibrHEEng Sakay,” “Ice Cream Mamang SorbHEEtero,” “Ice Cream, You Scream, We Scream for NI-KI,” “Cheese Corn Cart Mais con Jongseong,” “Handaan ni Jungwon,” photobooths, and the “lamp posts” around the Mall of Asia were on display. A big shout-out to the fanbases, who were there for three days as well!

Concert

As we entered the venue, the air was filled with excitement and anticipation. ENGENES were in high spirits, swaying to the beat of the music videos playing on the massive LED screen. As the lights faded to black, the screams went louder. Dressed in prince-like attire, ENHYPEN emerged onto the stage, commanding the audience’s attention. They kicked off the night with a powerhouse performance of their debut song “Given-Taken,” from their album “Border: Day One”.

Radiating with energy, the boys brought the crowd to life with their electrifying moves. As they continued their set with a fascinating performance of “Flicker” and “Not For Sale,” the energy in the venue became palpable. However, it was ENHYPEN’s performance of “Let Me In (20 Cube)” that truly captured the audience’s hearts and had them feeling alive with every “yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah!”

On the first day of their three-day “Manifesto” concert in Manila, ENHYPEN warmly greeted the enthusiastic ENGENES in attendance. The group expressed their happiness and gratitude for the overwhelming turnout of fans at the sold-out event.

Moving onto one of their personal favorite songs, ENHYPEN performed “TFW (That Feeling When),” an experience that felt like floating on a cloud of pure bliss while also having butterflies in your stomach with the highest level of kilig – it really is THAT feeling. They continued the set with “Upper Side Dreamin‘,” showcasing their versatility and dynamic range as performers.

The MOA Arena was ablaze with excitement as the group set the stage alight with their blazing performance of “Mixed Up,” “Drunk-Dazed,” and the original soundtrack
for HYBE Original Story Webtoon DARK MOON: THE BLOOD ALTAR, “One In A Billion.” With each pulse-pounding beat, the heat inside the arena rose, fueling the enthusiastic crowd’s wild cheering. The group’s fiery display was hotter than any sun, confirming their reign as undisputed rulers of the stage.

Next up, the group elevated the performance to new heights with their hit song “Fever,” and “Attention, Please.” The crowd was belting out the lyrics in unison, showcasing that “Fever” is undoubtedly one of ENHYPEN’s most impressive B-side tracks.

If you have been following ENHYPEN’s concert, you know that this song is one of the must awaited performance. “Polaroid Love” seemed to be a fanservice feast. During “Polaroid Love,” ENHYPEN members went down to the audience and shower  them so much fan service. Hi-fives were exchanged and hearts were completed, as the members made their way through the crowd.

The sight of ENHYPEN interacting with their fans was truly a sight to behold, as their love and devotion to their supporters was on full display. The night was a testament to the powerful connection that can exist between an artist and their fans.

Subsequently, the boys sang the song “Just A Little Bit.” Their vocal abilities were on full display and their harmonies were nothing short of heavenly.  As the evening drew to a close, the captivating sounds of ENHYPEN filled the air with their mesmerizing performance of “Tamed-Dash” followed seamlessly by the hauntingly beautiful “Blessed-Cursed”.

ENGENES were enthralled as they shout the chorus of, “Go Big or Go Home.” This high-energy number had the entire crowd jumping and swaying in unison, making it a standout favorite from the setlist. Before bidding farewell, ENHYPEN  treated the audience with their latest masterpiece, “Future Perfect (Pass the MIC),”

ENCORE

After the VCR, PRDX Invader, ENHYPEN stepped back onto the stage, ready to blow the audience away once again with “ParadoXXX Invasion.” 

Moving on to the highly anticipated part, definitely last but not the least, THE “SHOUT OUT.” From the moment this song was released it was clear that this is a great song to hear live. The thought of hearing the group’s vocals and harmonies is like a dream come true. “Shout Out” is the perfect anthem for letting go of all your worries and just feeling the moment. As the music pumps through your veins, you can’t help but raise your voice and scream out your emotions, feeling free and empowered. So when you hear those first few notes, don’t hold back, just let yourself go and shout out to the world, because this is your moment.

Leader, Jungwon’s words touched our hearts as he expressed his gratitude towards the Filipino ENGENES. He spoke of the joy that came with visiting various countries during their world tour, highlighting the Philippines as the most passionate of them all. Jungwon’s sincere appreciation for their fans was evident, further strengthening the bond between the group and their ENGENES.

Moreover, Sunghoon shared that a decade ago, he took part in a figure skating competition held at the SM Mall of Asia. He expressed his joy in returning, stating that he has fond memories of his time as a figure skater in the Philippines. He added that he is even happier now, as he has his group members and ENGENES.

All of them concluded their statements with the Filipino phrase, “Mahal Kita (I love You)”.

Although ENHYPEN’s Manifesto in Manila may have come to a close, the memories of that unforgettable night will linger with fans forever, like cherished moments that will always be remembered with a smile. The concert was more than just about the music. ENHYPEN took the time to interact with their fans, showing their love and appreciation for the support they have received.

Take inspiration from ENHYPEN, who dared to chase their dreams and turned them into reality through hard work, determination, and unwavering passion.
