In a statement released on April 17th, YG Entertainment, the management agency of K-Pop sensation BLACKPINK, categorically denied the recent rumors about the group’s member Rosé dating actor Kang Dong Won.
The agency stated that “the dating rumors of Rosé reported today are not true,” putting an end to speculations that had been circulating in the media and among netizens.
In a follow-up to their initial statement, YG Entertainment emphasized that they do not typically comment on the personal lives of their artists, as they consider it to be a private matter. However, given the persistent and unfounded nature of the rumors surrounding Rosé and Kang Dong Won, the management agency felt compelled to reiterate that there is no truth to the reports of the two being romantically involved.
Speculations about a potential romantic relationship between Rosé and Kang Dong Won emerged in the media after a group photo featuring the two of them was shared on social media by Riccardo Tisci, the former creative director of Burberry. The photo was taken at a social gathering and quickly sparked rumors, which were later debunked by YG Entertainment.
