As the Philippines solidified its position on the global entertainment stage, it will further affirm its presence by hosting the prestigious 2023 Asia Artist Awards (AAA).
In the spotlight this year, the Philippines takes great pride in hosting the AAA on December 14, 2023, at the iconic Philippine Arena, renowned as one of the world’s largest indoor venues.
AAA is a renowned South Korean awards organization that shines as a symbol of excellence in the Asian entertainment industry. Established in 2016 through collaborative efforts led by South Korean business newspaper Money Today, in partnership with global media giants MTN and StarNews, the AAA has steadfastly honored the finest contributions from the region in film, music, television, and digital content.
Throughout its history, the AAA has acknowledged the exceptional talents of K-pop icons like BTS and EXO, the melodious trot singer Lim Young Woong, and esteemed actors Lee Jung Jae and Lee Seung Gi. Hallyu sensations Park Bo Gum and Im Yoon Ah were among the inaugural recipients of the prestigious Asia Star Award.

Since then, the AAA has also celebrated fresh talent, exemplified by groups like aespa and IVE. With its tradition of honoring established icons while also showcasing rising stars, the AAA provides a comprehensive glimpse into the dynamic world of Asia’s entertainment industry.

Prior to this year’s event at the Philippine Arena, Mr. Vernon Go, the President and CEO of PULP Live World, and Ms. Happee Sy-Go, Vice President and COO of PULP Live World, met with AAA’s top executives at Shangri-La The Fort in Taguig City, Metro Manila This momentous agreement was officially solidified on August 14, 2023, in the presence of Mr. Bahg Junechul, CEO of StarNews, Mr. Kuk Byoungjin, CEO of TONZ Entertainment, and Ms. Kim Serin, its General Manager. The contract signing signaled the start of preparations for the 2023 ASIA ARTIST AWARDS.
The 2023 ASIA ARTIST AWARDS represent yet another first for the Philippines, hosting such an event in the country, made achievable by the collaborative efforts of StarNews, TONZ Entertainment, and the Philippines’ foremost pioneer in live Hallyu events, PULP Live World.
