Cha Eun Woo on renewing contract with Fantagio, wants to stay with ASTRO members

Cha Eun Woo, known for his role in the popular drama series “Island” and as a member of the K-pop group Astro, recently opened up about renewing his contract with his agency, Fantagio.

During a recent interview on the original TVing series “Island”, which was directed by Bae Jong, Cha Eun Woo discussed the topic of his contract renewal with Fantagio.

Cha Eun Woo garnered attention recently for extending his contract with Fantagio. When asked about his decision, he expressed his desire to stay with ASTRO members who have been by his side since before his debut. However, he also noted that their bond extends beyond their agency and that he will support them regardless of their future choices. Cha Eun Woo emphasized that his decision to renew his contract was not solely based on this factor.

Additionally, Cha Eun Woo mentioned that while some of ASTRO members have already signed new contracts, and others are still in negotiations, they have been communicating with the company individually. He also noted that the topic of contract renewals is a sensitive one, and as a result, they haven’t had in-depth discussions about it as a group.

Cha Eun Woo made his debut as a member of Astro together with MJ, JinJin, Moonbin, Rocky, and Sanha in 2016.
