Cha Eun Woo shares how he transformed his look for ‘Decibel’

ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo shared a YouTube video that shows his transformation into his character Tae Ryong for the film “Decibel,” featuring his short haircut.

On January 2nd, a video titled “The Movie ‘Decibel’ Making Film | Until Eun Woo becomes Tae Ryong” (translation) was posted on the YouTube channel of Cha Eun Woo,

In the video, Cha Eun-woo can be seen at a salon getting his hair styled, stating “This hair will be the last one. I should take a picture.” He goes on to say, “Now I’m trying to have short hair for the first time for a movie.

Cha Eun-woo also mentions, “Can I wash my hair while washing my face with short hair now?” and laughs as he rationalizes how convenient it would be.

He goes on to say, “I’m a soldier, so I shouldn’t be cute. Do you know who I see in the mirror having my hair cut short like this? My younger brother… I look exactly like Dong Hui now. He said, ‘He still has short hair.’

While on the set of the movie “Decibel,” Cha Eun Woo was asked about his thoughts on his short hair. He replied, “It’s awkward. I filmed the first scene of the movie, and everyone said this hairstyle suits me better than they thought. I looked awkward at first, but when I was five years old, Dong Min (Eun Woo’s real name) had this kind of hair.”

Cha Eun Woo was closely monitoring the clips that his manager recorded, he drew laughter by being shy, saying, “When during fall, you find wild chestnut trees while hiking, you see spiky horse chestnut burrs. My hair looks like that.”
