Ju Ji Hoon in talks to star in new drama

Ju Ji Hoon is currently in discussion to play the lead role of an upcoming medical drama.

Ju Ji Hoon is being considered for a role in the upcoming medical drama “Severe Trauma Center: Golden Hour”, according to his agency H&Entertainment. The agency confirmed to Korean media Newsen that the actor is currently reviewing the offer.

“Severe Trauma Center: Golden Hour” is inspired by a web novel by Lee Nak Joon (Han San-i-ga), an ear, nose, and throat doctor. The story centers on Baek Kang Hyuk, a trauma surgeon at the Severe Trauma Center of Korea University Hospital, who is known for his strong sense of duty. The drama follows the life-saving efforts of the Severe Trauma Center as they work to save patients in critical condition.

It has been reported that Ju Ji Hoon has been offered the lead role of Baek Kang Hyuk in a new medical drama. This is not the actor’s first foray into medical dramas, as he previously appeared in “Medical Top Team” in 2013.

In addition to this potential new role, Ju Ji Hoon has recently released the film “Gentleman” and is currently filming “The Dominant Species”, a drama written by Lee Soo Yeon of “Stranger”.
