EXO’s Kai to hold free fanmeeting

Prior to his enlistment, EXO member Kai generously organized a fan meeting, free of charge, as a way to show his appreciation and gratitude towards his fans.

On the 4th, SM Entertainment, the agency of EXO, announced Kai’s free fan meeting through the Kwangya Club, a fan community platform.

According to the notice released by SM Entertainment, Kai will be holding a free fan meeting at Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul on May 9th at 7 PM, just two days before his scheduled enlistment on the 11th. The event is expected to be an emotional one, as fans will have the chance to see and interact with Kai before he begins his military service.

The agency stated that due to the limited capacity of the venue, only members of the official paid fan club (EXO-L Ace 3, Ace 2) will be able to apply for tickets in advance and attend the event for free,” the representative explained. Furthermore, they emphasized that the fan meeting was intended for Kai’s devoted fans to gather and spend time together, and asked for understanding in case of any potential limitations or shortcomings.

Earlier this week, SM made a surprise announcement regarding Kai’s early enlistment, which disrupted EXO’s plans for a group comeback later this year. However, due to recent changes in the regulations of the Military Manpower Administration, Kai entered the army training center on May 11 to receive basic military training before serving as a public social worker.
