Actor Gong Yoo was reportedly to star in Netflix’s upcoming drama.
According to a report by sportchosun, Gong Yoo chose “The Sea of Silence” as his next drama.
The drama will be produced as an Netflix original series, that will show the dystopian worldview set on a future earth where water and food are scarce due to desertification worldwide. It is a SF horror genre that tells the story of elite agents going to the moon to retrieve mysterious samples.
Gong Yoo will play the role of Yunjae, a soldier from the space agency and leader of the team.
Filming will begin in August.
Meanwhile, Gong Yoo starred in Goblin, Coffee Prince, Train to Busan, and more.
