Jun Ji Hyun is currently considering a return to television. She is in talks for the lead role in Jeong Seo Kyung’s upcoming project, tentatively titled ‘The North Star’.
An IEUM Hashtag agency official confirmed to Korean media on March 28th that Jun Ji Hyun was offered a role in ‘The North Star’ and is currently giving it a favorable review, “Jun Ji Hyun received an offer to appear in the drama ‘The North Star’ and is reviewing it positively.”
Should Jeon Ji-hyun accept the role, it will mark her return to television after a two-year break following her appearance in tvN’s ‘Jirisan’ in 2021.
‘The North Star’ is an espionage-themed melodrama that follows the journey of spies who have lost their sense of self as they attempt to rediscover their identities.
The anticipation is already high, with actor Kang Dong Won also being considered for the same role. Many are curious whether the two actors will be cast together in the drama.
Currently, the production team of ‘The North Star’ is focused on finalizing the main cast before starting filming.
