K-pop icon SEVENTEEN’s DINO has officially dropped his highly anticipated pre-release single “Love Sick (narr. Lee Moon Sae)” under his captivating alter ego, Picheolin. Available now on all major global music streaming platforms, this track offers listeners a poignant first glimpse into his upcoming debut solo project, 1st Mini Album 吉BOARD (Gilboard).
The new single masterfully captures the bittersweet love story of Picheolin, a character framed as a true romantic of the century. Weaving a beautiful yet painful tale designed to resonate across generations, the song blends sentimental piano melodies with a sophisticated, nostalgic city pop sound. It perfectly expresses the complex mix of warm memories and the lingering heartache that follows a breakup.
Showcasing his immense versatility as a K-pop all-rounder, DINO actively participated in both writing and composing the track. He teamed up with SEVENTEEN’s long-time visionary producer BUMZU to craft the unique sound. Adding to the immense artistic synergy, legendary South Korean singer and iconic radio DJ Lee Moon Sae lends his profound, comforting voice for a spoken narration that enriches the emotional narrative right from the intro.
The accompanying “Love Sick” music video elevates the cinematic experience, romantically following Picheolin’s footprints as he drifts through neon-lit city streets at night to overcome the pain of heartbreak. Following this pre-release, DINO is already scheduled to drop his next single, “Mi-cheo Mi-cheo,” on July 22. SEVENTEEN Launches Exclusive Spotify Video Podcast “STAN:A”
In addition to DINO’s solo music ventures, SEVENTEEN is expanding their global footprint with a brand-new video podcast series. The project is part of STAN:A, HYBE’s original video podcast show introduced in direct partnership with the global music streaming platform Spotify.
Titled STAN [SEVENTEEN], the exclusive four-episode series is hosted by the members of SEVENTEEN themselves. The hosting lineup features DINO alongside his alter ego Picheolin, as well as the sub-unit V8, consisting of members THE 8 and VERNON. Together, they offer fans a much deeper look into their shared artistry and creative worlds. The show explores authentic, behind-the-scenes stories from the making of their hit albums and highlights their personal tastes as the members select a single headline to define their historic journey.
Aiming to bring international fans closer to the group, the series is set to build on the massive global momentum of the STAN:A franchise. The show previously made history as the first Korean-language podcast to top the Music category of Spotify’s Podcast Charts across major international markets, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Australia.
